Project Runway Season 8 Desginers’ Model Selections…

Last night, the wonderful April Johnston and crew were at Halo to audition for the “Exposed” fashion show which will feature three desginers from Project Runway Season 8. We had more than 50 of our models show up for the audition. We couldn’t be more proud of our girls. Each and every one of our models makes us proud, whether you were selected or not…YOU MAKE US PROUD! Model selections are below. If you were selected, pleaes read the TIME SENSITIVE instructions below. Congrats!

All selected models must email measurements to HaloAgency@yahoo.com. Please have your measurements taken by a seamstress or at a formal wear shop. We need bust, waist, hips (which really means the largest part around your bottom) shoe size and height. We need theses measurements by Friday, May 4. Also, please block off May 18 in your calendar. Your call times and fitting times will be sent to you once the designers schedule with us. Congrats! If we do not receive your measurements by Friday, we will assume that you have not accepted your invitation to be in the show.

Thursday, April 26, 2012: The Savannah Yacht Club hosted their annual fashion event once again this year and Halo Models walked for two of the top boutiques in Savannah. Our models walked for James Gunn boutique and Tabby Boutique, both located on Broughton Street in downtown Savannah. Halo Models Film Dierks Bentley Music Video

Halo Models ventured out to Bloomingdale, GA for the Dierks Bentley video shoot. The shoot was filmed on location at the “Big Nasty” ATV Park. We aren’t joking. Tha’ts really the name of the park. It was a hot day of mud slinging and mud boggin’ (we just learned that term). Our three gorgeous girls and two handsome guys were front and center while filming with Dierks. It’s not every day you book a modeling gig that allows you to stand up and dance in the back of a Jeep. Dierks’ personality made bearing the heat, well, bearable. He is as kind as he is good looking. Here’s a little behind the scenese clip of the video shoot…. and congrats to the Halo Models. That’s a wrap!

Halo Models Selected for Dierks Bentley Music Video Shoot

After more than 70 submissions and a Yahoo email crash, the selections are in. The producers of the Dierks Bentley “51-50″ music video have selected the following models. These models will be filming Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Bloomingdale. Check back with us for photos from the shoot. Congrats Halo and Halo Models! Thank you to all of the models that auditioned for Savannah Fashion Week. Unfortunately, not every model was selected. We are proud of every model that we presented to the 14 clients of Savannah Fashion Week. If you were not selected, it does not mean you are not a talented model. We would not have asked you to audition if we didn’t believe in you and your abilities. We are booking some other spring shows, so we may contact you for a different show. We are honored that you were a part of this audition process.

Makenna Reeder Part Fish / Part Model

That’s right, Makenna is an award winning swimmer, too…not just a gorgeous model. We think all that swimming Makenna does must help her keep her beautiful model-perfect figure. Makenna has been featured around Savannah in many events and print ads ranging from Fashion’s Night Out for Mangled Courtesan to The Art of Fashion for Telfair to La Perla to the Custard Boutique ad for Savannah Magazine. Makenna rocks!

Halo is Model Coordinator for Savannah Fashion Week

Females and Males interested in modeling for Savannah Fashion Week must audition at our preliminary screening Wednesday, March 21 at 5 PM. If you are already listed or signed with the Halo Agency you do not need to attend the preliminary screening. Please bring one non-returnable photgraph. Ages 17 and older. Females 5’7 and taller, size 0-6. Males 5’11 and taller with a jacket measurement of 40-44″ only please. Prelim screenings will take place at the Halo Studio. Halo Models for the Telfair Acedemy Guild’s The Art of Great Fashion

It was a night of fun and fashion at fall’s most elegant evening of style sponsored by Chatham Parkway Lexus with fashions by Gaucho. The evening began with a chance to bid in the themed silent auction, followed by a fashion show by Halo Models. Fashions were provided by Gaucho Boutique which included selctions from designers like Ray Harris. The work of a surprise designer, artist Marcus Kinney, provided the accessories inspired by his taxidermy craft. His wearable art astonished the audience as fur, feathers, fishhooks and flashbulbs joined horns and hive to top the head, surround the neck and dangle from the ears!
