Has to have dancing skills. Animated, and Lively, Will be dressed in a Johnny Weir style Skate outfit.
Must be able to roller blade. Male Skater will be required to do a series of Elegant stylized dance movements and artistic poses throughout the event on Rollerblades in an open case snow globe (Models must have their own roller blades)

Description: We are casting for a series of In-store Promotional events based on Flamboyant Figure skater Johnny Weir.
You will be dressed like a figure skaters, on fake snow, Wearing Roller Blades SKATES at The department store.

Congratulations, Duston! We find it very impressive that your very first paid job as a model is a shoot with Bruce Webber for Abercrombie and Fitch. In November, Duston left Glennville, Georgia with his mother and they flew to NY for the Spring Abercrombie campaign shoot. The legendary Bruce Webber was the photographer for the shoot. Duston Rogers, Halo male new face, has signed with NY Model Management and with Vision Models in L.A. His story is one for the record books. Duston’s family lives in Glenn County and they raise chickens. There must be something in those chickens that turned this sweet teenage boy to a male super model in the making. Duston is currently on option for Abercrombie Kids through his L.A. agency, Vision. Stayed tuned…we expect this is only the beginning for Duston.
Halo Model, Anna, Books Big Time in Chicago!

It was her first time on an airplane. Anna and her mom boarded Sunday, May 2, 2010 for their trip to Chicago. Today, as I type, Anna is testing with New York photographer, Adrian Nina. While her classmates sit at the lunch table at Richmond Hilll High School, Anna is in downtown Chicago dolled up in hair and make-up on the set of a photoshoot. The teen is also scheduled to meet clients in Chicago later today, these appointments set by her agent at Ford Models. She flies home tomorrow. From the looks of her composite card, we don’t think this will be the last time she is on an airplane.

Connect NYC: An elite meeting for perfomers in the heart of NYC

Connect NYC is an elite meeting of models and actors with agents and scouts in the heart of NYC. Connect NYC is not a talent convention. It’s simply a way to connect with agents, scouts and casting directors. Halo is solely responsible for the set up and execution of the Connect NYC event. The event is limited in number. We take about three trips a year inviting only 30 performers. We plan to take another small group to interview with agents and scouts January 2-4, 2011. Auditions are held twice a month at the Halo studio. Contact Halo if you would like to audition for the NYC trip.

Halo’s Best Give it a Shot at the Big Time!
We are sure there will be many success stories from our trip. The next trip is in November. Do you have what it takes to play in the big league?
The youngest actress is four. The oldest model is nineteen. The top 12 models and actors from Halo were hand selected by the agency owner to attend a private scouting event in NY. Halo’s top models and actors are on a plane as you read this email. Once they land in NYC, the top 12 will give it a shot with 19 of NYC’s top fashion agencies, talent agencies and Broadway scouts. Halo is joining forces with her sister agency in Atlanta to take part in an elite scouting event in the heart of NYC. There will only be 30 performers and there will be 19 agencies and scouts. The line up includes NY Models, VNY, Elite, Wilhelmina, Boss Models, ADAM, Model Service Agency, Generation Models, Shirley Grant Management, Frontier Booking, Intrepid Talent, One Model Management, Vision, Take 3, CESD and Herman Lipson Casting.

Open calls are for anyone that is interested in auditioning for the agency. (If you have already auditioned, you do not need to audition again.) Please bring one non-returnable photo. If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent. Open calls begin promptly at 5 PM. There is no need to be super early and please don’t be late. Doors open at 5 PM and will begin immediately.
