Summer Camps at Halo are for the Drama Queen (or King) in your family! Does your child dream of being on TV? Would they like to walk the catwalk? Let your kid or teen feel like a Broadway star at The Halo TV and Runway Studio. From filming commercials to learning photo movement for print ads, your child or teen will express their “inner-performer” at our summer camp. And, at Halo we teach kids that it’s cool to be themselves so they leave feeling comfortable in their own skin. Enrolling now. Scroll down to click the REGISTER button and to read the daily line up. Camp is for ages 7-12 and 13-17.
Each day campers will start off with snacks, improvisation games for public speaking and interview practice. Our goal is to teach campers how to master the art of the awkward “small talk” and feel comfortable while doing so. Our goal is that every camper builds self-confidence during the week that will last a lifetime.
Day 1: Slates, Introductions: Making a Great First Impression. Get to know others and instructors through fun warm ups and ice breakers.
Day 2: TV Commercials filmed and played back on TV for critiques. Learn how to “bullet point” for quick memorization. Improvisation techniques are taught for both forgetting lines and for small talk interviews prior to the audition.
Day 3: Modeling: Runway and Photo Movement. How to walk and move. How to read line ups for a fashion show. Campers will bring clothing to perform a fashion show and a mini-photo session.
Day 4: Scenes with a Partner, filmed and played back for critiques. Campers will partner up with each other to perform different roles in different scenes which will be filmed by the instructor.
Day 5: Week review and Showcase for Parents and Friends to watch the campers perform a fashion show and a TV commercial talent show.

Isabella has continued to be a success story for Halo.
