Casting for new film “Our Child is Missing” starring Dean Cain

We at Halo are working with our sister agency in Atlanta on the new film “Our Child is Missing” starring Dean Cain.  The casting is for adult actors, 18 and older, male and female, all ethnicities.  Auditions will be held in Carrollton, GA,  Tuesday, September 2 by appointment only.  Email Halo to request an appointment time.  (haloagency@bellsouth.net)  No walk-ins will be accepted.  This is a faith-based movie and will be filmed in Carrollton, GA beginning September 22, 2008.

Requirements:  You must have a current, color headshot and you should look like your headshot.  Outdated headshots are unacceptable.  Be prepared to leave two or three headshots behind for the casting director and producer.   You must be 18 and older.  You must drive to Carrollton, GA for the audition.

Fall classes start the week of October 22…

Halo is enrolling NOW for Fall classes.  Halo offers courses in personal development and acting.  Classes are available for all ages, beginning with children 5 and up.  Our fall session begins the week of October 22, offering weekday evening and Saturday classes.  All classes meet once a week for six weeks.

Our acting classes range from beginner to intermediate, focusing on monologues, commercials and improvisation skills all while students get to see themselves on television!  Lights, Camera, Action, our acting class offered for kids and teens meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 PM.  The Starving Actor class for adults is offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 PM.  Take Two, our class for advanced actors of all ages is offered by invitation.  If you have an interest in the Take Two program, please call Halo for specific details and information.

Our personal development classes cover more than just runway modeling and fashion photography instruction. Shine Glimmer Glow, our course for teen and adult females, is an introduction to the world of modeling, focusing on runway skills, photography movement, natural make-up application, skin care and nutrition. Shine Glimmer Glow meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 PM.  Kidz Club, for children 5 - 8 years, helps kids with everything from self-esteem and nutrition to speaking in front of the class. Kidz Club meets Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 4:30. A Little Lace with the Denim is our pre-teen program designed to help young girls take on the transition to a confident young lady.  Pre-teen classes are a blast covering everything from skincare to self-confidence and peer pressure.  A Little Lace with the Denim meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 PM.

Our classes are not just for those interested in modeling or acting. At Halo, we’ve helped numerous students who weren’t interested in modeling or acting at all. Our goal is to see each student become a self-confident person.

Atlanta & Savannah Casting for fashion runway models

Halo Models is casting in Atlanta and Savannah for fashion runway models.  Halo is organizing numerous fall fashion shows and we are looking to book male and female models for these shows.  Male models must be 5′11 or taller.  Females must be 5′8 or taller.  All models must be lean and in shape, as some swimsuit shows may be booked.   Some models may be asked to participate in the Halo fall showcase…a showcase that brings 5 top agents to Savannah from NY, Miami and Atlanta.

Atlanta casting will be held Sunday, August 10 at 6 PM at the Cobb Galleria Center, room 113.

Savannah casting will be held Wednesday, August 13 at 5 PM at the Halo studio.  1323 Bull Street, Savannah 31401.  DIrections are posted on our Contact page.

Please bring one non-returnable photograph and be prepared to walk the runway.  Teens younger than 18 must bring a parent.
