own Ramsey Allen, upcoming senior at St. Vincent’s Academy, has signed with Ikon
Models, NY. This summer, she is living with a fellow model in Manhattan and
auditioning for fashion clients in the city. Seventeen year-old Ramsey runs
cross country and is an honor student.
Keep Ramsey in your prayers as she faces the big city alone. We are all cheering for you, Rams!

Continual training and involvement with your local agency is the key to success in the fashion, entertainment and music industry. Halo provides opporunities for training and performing in our modeling, acting and personal development courses.
Our course cover the art of performing, winning over your audience, improv, stage presence, runway techniques and photo movement.
All kids (ages 6-12) courses meet Wednesdays at 6 PM. Female modeling (ages 13 and up) courses meet Wednesdays at 7 PM. Teen/Adult (males and females ages 13 and up) acting courses meet Thursdays a 6 PM.
All courses are seven weeks long. Each course meets once a week for an hour. Kids course are $395. Acting courses are $395. Modeling courses are $495. Discounts available for pre-registration. City-wide Talent Auditions September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 2009

Halo is casting for a number of projects see actors and models ages 6 years of age and older. All ethnicities, all sizes and all ages (8 years and older) are welcome. Auditions will be held at the Halo studio in downtown Savannah. For directions, click the “Contact” button above. Times are as follows:
September 2 @ 5 PM
September 9 @ 5 PM
September 16 @ 5 PM

Please do not arrive early. Please dress casual. Please bring one non-returnable snapshop with you. Professional photographs are not needed at this time. A script will be given to you upon arrival. Due to limited space in our studio, only one guest is allowed to come with you. Please do not bring your whole family. What should I wear to the audition?
Dress in neat, casual, age-approriate clothes- nothing dressy, nothing sexy! Keep your appearance fresh and clean. If you wear makeup, keep it minimal or none at all! We like to see your hair natural, too! If it’s curly, wear it curly. If it’s straight, wear it straight. This will give us our best idea of what you really look like!
TIPS FOR PARENTS:
Is my child ready to audition?
Your child must be at least 8 years old. *Occasionally, Halo will accept precocious 5-7 year-olds. Most importantly, your child or teen must want to perform!
You will know if your child is meant for Show Business in early childhood. Child Performers love to be in front of camera; they “mimic” performers on TV; they speak easily to strangers; they are smart and are usually high achievers. Some are beautiful. Some are “characters!” The most important attribute for child models or actors is personality!
Are auditions safe?
That’s a smart question to ask! Before you audition for anyone in the Talent Industry (a photographer, casting director, or an agency like Halo), you need to know who they are! Check out their history, reputation, and success stories. At Halo, we also believe that the family of a new actors, singer, dancer, or model needs to be involved every step of the way!
