South Magazine and Halo partnered for the fall fashion edition this month.  One of our featured print models, Katherine, not only has a pretty face but boy can she ham it up in front of the camera.   Katherine was the hostess with the mostess for the South Magazine’s launch party.  Watch her video… you may recognize a face or two…

Halo Model, Jack, in Savannah Magazine this month…

Halo Fashion Division auditions for Miami Agency

Halo isn’t just a local agency.   Our contacts stretch from New York and Miami to Dallas and L.A.  The best way to be seen by reputable agencies in larger markets is to be plugged into a local agency. 

“Not only the best quality, but the best quantity” was the compliment Halo owner Stephanie Duke received from Dan Ryan, head of scouting for 301 Models in Miami.   Mr.  Ryan was scouting the Southeast for 301’s new faces division.  The fashion season in Miami is just around the corner and 301 is ready to bring some new faces to their agency.

Halo Models shoot for South Magazine Fall ‘09 Fashion Edition

There’s just something about the South…and this time we mean the magazine.   Halo models are featured in the current edition of South Magazine, all while showing us the latest fall fashions.  Seven Halo models and Halo Director, Stephanie Duke, accepted the appropriate title of “Runway Residents” and spilled the beans on the tougher sides of the industry.  Go buy a South Magazine!

Birthdays come, birthdays go…and so do the fashion shows.

It was a lovely Thursday evening.  The sunset was gorgeous, the vibe was chill and the skirtini cocktails were flowing as fast as the Savannah River.  Skirt Magazine turned five.  Halo Models hosted the fashion bonanza with clothing from local boutiques Mint, Terra Cotta, Custard, Stella Rose and Kathi Rich.  The Halo models graced the runway with class and style and beauty…not to be out done by the “men in skirts” impromtu fashion show.   Happy Birthday, Skirt. We love ya!

Halo Models at Georgia Bridal Show

Sunday, March 1, 2009 Halo Models graced the Savannah Civic Center looking stunning, as always. Halo Models were hostesses for the Georgia Bridal Show, the popular annual event for Brides-to-be.  The fashion show displayed more than 150 wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos. Halo owner, Stephanie Duke, called the show backstage, with help from Harley, Chelsea and Danielle.

 

Halo Top Models Perform at 2009 Southern Women’s Show

Just when you think the women in Savannah can’t get any prettier, Halo showcased some of Savannah’s top beauties at the 2009 Southern Women’s Show last weekend.   The show entitled, “From NYC to Savannah: Fashions from the Historic District” was a smashing success and a favorite of the Savannah Southside Fire Fighters.  As the models graced the stage, clad in fashions from Mint Boutique and Terra Cotta, the fire fighters took front row.  Why were fire fighters at a fashion show, you ask?  Because the Halo Models are on fire…but it was also because the firemen had their own fundraiser fashion show right after Halo.  And if you were at that show, you know it was the show that needed a little cooling off.

And how  fabulous was it that our booth was located just down from our favorite, Skirt Magazine.  Not only should the girls from Skirt be up on the runway with the Halo Models, but they should have a Skirt Savannah party bus…these girls know how to have a good time.  In a world where most women are jealous of other women, the girls at Skirt are a breath of fresh air. They are fun. They are themselves. But most importantly, they believe in empowering women rather than tearing them down.  Funny, that’s the same thing we teach at Halo.  We love you Skirt!  If you haven’t read Skirt Magazine, there is something seriously wrong with you.

Halo Models help host party at WJCL/FOX TV Savannah

Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Halo Models & Talent Group assisted in hosting the Savannah Small Business Chamber of Commerce networking party at the WJCL/Fox station.  Companies from all over Savannah came to mingle, relax and be on TV! That’s right, Halo Models and the small business chamber members were live on the 6:00 news Wednesday night.  Halo models and actors also got a chance to goof off on the radar green screen.  See pictures below.  Cheers to a successful event!
